Chart notes
MOLLY'S ANGEL stalked the early pace from the inside, experienced traffic near the quarter pole, swung out four wide into the upper lane and drew off to be well clear late under strong encouragement. STAR OF THE NORTH showed good early speed while being rated down the backstretch, was challenged by Molly's Angel inside the three sixteenths pole and couldn't match strides with the winner to finish second best. MAIDEN ROCK was allowed to settle early on, moved up five wide into the upper stretch and showed good late interest. THAT WOULD BE NICE raced four wide near the seven eighths pole, was near the inside in the lane and had no late response. OWEN'S PLEASURE was unhurried early on, raced four wide deep around the far turn, was five wide near the three sixteenths pole and had not enough. HUNTER'S MAGIC dropped back early on, raced towards the inside and had no response. HELL OF THE NORTH tracked the early leader while racing just off the inside and gave way.
