Chart notes
SWEET GRACIE raced three wide up close late on the turn, launched a bid for GLITTERING PRIZE at the head of the lane, reached equal terms with a sixteenth left to run, dug in under pressure and edged away. GLITTERING PRIZE set the pace around the turn, battled back when challenged by SWEET GRACIE in the final furlong, could not kick on with winner in final stages but finished clearly second best. PRINCESS PALMER chased up close two wide around the turn, shifted out wider for the drive and churned on for a share. STRANDS OF PEARLS raced off the early pace, went three wide into the lane, shifted out wider and lacked a needed rally. WI FI hustled up out of the gate, chased in range around the turn then gave way in the lane. CAGED PIXIE raced in the back, saved ground around the turn and never threatened.
