Chart notes
PEPPER JACK broke alertly, allowed the leader to go early, switched out onto the backstretch and moved up to duel in the two path before a half, salted the other speed way when straightened for home, kicked well clear under a vigorous hand ride. SEEHOSS cleared early in the two path, alternated inside the winner backstretch and through the final turn, proved no match for the winner in the drive, clearly second best. CHARLIE G rank while racing in some traffic first turn, chased the top two into the lane, finished up best of the rest. PUTTHEHAMMERDOWN raced in the second flight while off the inside, closest to the top two far turn, had little left for the drive. PORT O' CALL last away, saved ground to no avail in failing to menace. SPEEDOFTHESPEED forwardly placed for a half outside, begin to give way into the far turn. OPENING QUARTER FRACTIONAL SPLIT HAND TIMED DUE TO TIMER MALFUNCTION.
