Chart notes
LEMIEUX broke very fast and was quickly two lengths in front, was joined on the outside by PRINCESS TERUKO outside the five-eighths, showed the way under pressure from that foe, vied in the two path on the turn, shook clear with five-sixteenths to run, was given her cue after straightening for the drive and drew off under a mild hand ride to win handily. PRINCESS TERUKO moved up on the outside to press the pace, vied in the three path on the turn, dropped back under urging at the five-sixteenths, chased into the stretch then came under the crop and safely secured second while no match for the winner. SHINE broke in at the start, moved up to race just behind the leader on the inside, was asked midway through the turn, chased against the rail into the stretch then was put to the crop and capitulated.
