Chart notes
K K CAN engaged in close chase through the backstretch, raced three wide on the turn and dueled to even terms mid-stretch, then dug in under determined handling to take the nod later yards. SUPER WILDCAT set a pressure pace between horses and contested the edge two deep on the turn, was met mid-stretch and relented through the final yards. LAVELLO chased, raced off the rail on the turn and finished well to take third later yards. ASBUILT gave chase, rounded the turn about the three path and finished well. SMOOTH DANCER engaged in close early chase while between horses, contested the turn at the rail then weakened inside the sixteenth pole. SHO U RIGHT ducked out at the break and gave chase outside then weakened in the three and four paths of the turn. TEXAS TUDY pressured the earlier pace inside, steadied approaching the five sixteenths pole and was taken up past the pole.
