Chart notes
CLAW rated outside the leader, moved up to gain a short lead through the second turn, shook clear in the lane, then lasted under steady pressure. STARSHIP EMPIRE well placed and outside, gained position three wide through the second turn, bid on that path into the lane, made a steady gain and missed. LEXATOGA mid pack and inside, saved ground on the two path through the second turn, bid between rivals into the stretch, then drifted in and could not gain the final furlong. FISHMAN sprinted to a clear lead soon after the start, stayed on when challenged through the second turn, then weakened the final furlong. HEY GRIFF allowed to settle, looped up three wide through the second turn, bid on that path into the lane and flattened out. HOT TRAFFIC showed little, inside. MUTAFAANY was never involved.
