MARVELOUS MAUDE was hustled from the break, bumped with a foe while in hand in the two path on the first turn, was rated off the pace, drafted inside on the far turn, was roused outside the quarter-pole, chased along the rail under a drive into the final sixteenth and got up under strong urging. VIVAZANO went to the front, dropped from the four path to the two path on the opening bend, showed the way on an uncontested lead, rounded the far turn in the two path, was asked near the quarter-pole then came under a drive in upper stretch, drifted out into the final furlong, fought on when headed by the winner in the final sixteenth and just missed while clear for the place. POP THE BUBBLY broke out and bumped with a foe, bumped with MARVELOUS MAUDE while rated in the three path between horses on the first turn, settled down the backstretch, was let out inside the five-eighths then came under urging, chased four then three wide on the far turn, turned into the stretch under the crop, was carried out into the final furlong and outfinished but well clear for the show. RAINING CANDY was bumped at the start and forced lightly into another foe, went four wide on the first turn, settled on the outside, passed the five-eighths under coaxing, was roused for more at the half-mile pole, went three wide on the final turn and came up empty. MISS FLINTSHIRE was bumped at the start and forced out, went four wide on the first turn, settled on the outside, was urged along passing the half-mile pole and failed to respond then faltered. HIYA HARRY was rated under a tight hold against the rail while in crowded quarters through the first turn and early on the backstretch, moved off the rail at that point and also faltered.
