Chart notes
FIFTY FIFTY accelerated to the lead at the seven sixteenths pole and set a clear pace, rounded the turn near the rail and was steadily handled through the stretch. RUNNING ROY came in at the break then engaged in close chase, came out a path to make light contact with HELLO CARLO at the eighth pole then dueled clear of that one inside the sixteenth pole, while the latter, chased through the backstretch, ran in the three path of the turn, was brushed lightly at the eighth pole then ceded second mid-stretch. BOSEY gave chase, raced near the rail on the turn and showed little in the lane. SUN OF SILVER chased toward the inside, rounded the turn near the rail then weakened. COLONIAL ROAD came away slowly then gave chase outside then raced off the rail on the turn. The Stewards reviewed a claim of foul against the rider of Running Roy, lodged by the rider of Hello Carlo, though, dismissed the claim.
