Chart notes
SWEET MISSION crossed to be just off the inside soon after the start, tracked the front from the two path briefly taken in hand off the heels of MALIBU ANTHEM just outside of six and a half furlongs to go, remained patiently handled and tipped out three then four wide through the far turn placed to light coaxing near the five-sixteenths, continued three to four wide into upper stretch, took over command nearing the eighth pole and went clear under light urging inside the eighth pole, then finished ears pricked under her own power prevailing comfortably on the wire. DEAREST KITTEN coaxed from the gate, established the front and showed the way three then two wide through the first turn before taking to the rail into the backstretch, remained in hand until placed to light coaxing inside the half mile pole looking to shake away, spun just off the inside into upper stretch under growing threat and floated out three then four wide when collared by the top one near the eighth pole, proved no match for that rival while keeping on clear for the place honors. SALINO coaxed from the gate, chased along the inside coming under coaxing at the seven-sixteenths, tipped to the two path near the three-eighths pole, spun two to three wide for home and weakened while along clear for the show honors. MALIBU ANTHEM hustled briefly from the start, chased two to three wide through the opening bend, then chased just off the inside in closest aim of the leader knocking heads with SALINO to her inside, came under coaxing three wide at the three-eighths, continued three wide at the head of the stretch and tired. NEVER CONTENT (IRE) four then three wide through the first turn, chased three to four wide coming under coaxing midway on the far turn, went four to five wide into upper stretch and tired. LITTLE NUTTER raced along the rail through the first turn and was briefly taken in hand along the inside just outside six and a half furlongs to run, chased inside until tipped to the two path placed to coaxing at the seven-sixteenths, spun three wide into upper stretch and trailed.
