Chart notes
NOVA SUPERSPORT stalked close up three wide, tracked on the turn, rallied outside in the stretch drive, dueled with with SOUPER ENERGIZER in deep stretch and prevailed. SOUPER ENERGIZER raced off the pace, chased inside on the turn, moved up between horses, angled in at the eighth pole, rallied inside and dug in gamely to the finish. PATRIARCH ARTIE vied two wide for the lead, dueled two wide on the turn, led in upper stretch, dug in and weakened late. WHISTLE PLAYER was off a bit slow, outrun early, steadied to avoid an injured rival nearing the turn and raced far back. SIDETOWN showed good early speed to set the pace, dueled inside on the turn and gave way in the stretch. KNOCKOUT PUNCH chased early on, was injured nearing the turn, pulled up and vanned off. After a Stewards' Inquiry the race was declared official. PER THE NEW JERSEY RACING COMMISSION, NOVA SUPERSPORT HAS BEEN DQ'D DUE TO A POSITIVE TEST.
