PIEDI BIANCHI broke out then was corrected by the rider, tracked the pace on the outside, inched closer in the three path on the turn, was asked for her best while still on her inside lead in upper stretch, switched to the proper lead outside the furlong marker, took the lead inside that marker and edged clear under steady handling. LEAD GUITAR came away from the gate under urging, was carried out by ROBIN SPARKLES early then steadied in crowded quarters, moved inward in third position, saved ground on the turn, was roused coming to the quarter-pole, chased under a drive into the final furlong and was outfinished while able to get second. ROBIN SPARKLES moved out while showing speed, set the pace well off the inside, vied in the two path on the turn, was asked at the quarter-pole then came under a drive in upper stretch, lost the lead just inside the furlong marker and weakened. HYDRA brushed the outside of the gate at the start then was taken up badly, spotted the front several lengths, settled at the rear, raced inside early on the turn then was roused while moving to the two path, spun three wide into the stretch then tipped out a path further and failed to respond.
