Chart notes
EL MAESTRO broke sharply to press the pace of OVERLY FAST while racing three-wide, moved up to take command nearing the three-sixteenths pole and held sway to the wire. TIGER MOUNTAIN was reserved just off the leaders from the inside, angled out nearing the sixteenth pole and finished with good energy. OVERLY FAST was away in good order to set a pressured pace, responded when challenged by the winner nearing the five-sixteenths pole, vied and gave way through the final furlong. DANNY ZUKO was forwardly placed early, moved four-wide through the turn and lacked the needed closing response. PRAYFORTATERS lacked early foot, raced three-wide through the turn and failed to rally. STONUS MAXIMUS was void of early speed, raced four-wide through the turn and was not a factor. AWEZEE settled off the leaders from the inside and gradually weakened. RIVER KAT was off a step slow and lagged throughout.
