Chart notes
RUN FACTOR broke out and crowded GRAY GEM and BOY HOWDY, was clear to the backstretch, set all the pace and held driving. BOY HOWDY was crowded shortly after the start, chased the winner from the rail to the stretch then settled for second. INTELICRYPT was forced six wide by GRAY GEM on the first turn, settled on the backstretch, came two wide to the stretch but finished evenly late. GRAY GEM was crowded at the start, bore out five deep on the first turn, was corrected but drifted five wide on the second and was not a factor. CHIEFS LIL PEARL chased the pace to the second turn, was three wide to the stretch but weakened in the lane. CAPES HOT ROCKET was forced out to the seven path by GRAY GEM on the first turn and trailed throughout.
