Chart notes
AUBURN MILL chased inside, steadily closed at the rail on the turn, dug in for the lead mid-stretch and dueled clear later yards. STRONG SAFETY took the lead at the half mile pole and set a pressured pace, was met at the rail midway on the turn, put Upheaval away into the lane but was caught mid-stretch and relented later yards. MAJESTIC SEAS stumbled leaving the gate then gave chase through the backstretch, rounded the turn in the three and four paths, dueled for third mid-stretch and finished evenly. RUN RABBIT gave chase and raced in the five path of the turn, then finished well while gaining steadily on the top three. UPHEAVAL pressured the pace and dueled to even terms two deep midway on the turn, but drifted toward the head of the lane, dropped back at the eighth pole and weakened.
