Chart notes
LEADING WEST coaxed from the gate, saved ground near the rear of the field coming under coaxing tipped just off the inside at the three-eighths, angled out four wide into upper stretch, rallied to take command just inside the eighth pole, dug in inching away to the finish kept busy to the wire. RUDY ROD hustled from the gate, vied six then five paths off the inside with a trio to his inside, came under coaxing near the quarter pole and seized command at that station, spun just off the inside for home, dug in under threat and was collared just inside the eighth pole, fought on to the finish. BOLDISH chased two to three wide down the backstretch and then three to four wide through the turn coaxed along from the three-eighths, angled five wide for home, dug in bidding a furlong out, ran on to the finish to be along well clear for the show honors. TALLIS hustled from the gate, vied from the two path with a trio, shook off one of those rivals when placed to coaxing at the three-eighths, got collared near the quarter pole and took the inside route into upper stretch, then weakened through the stretch. REINER vied five then four wide with a trio, came under coaxing three to four wide at the five-sixteenths, swung two to three wide for home and tired. THEREGOESMYMIRACLE four then three wide early on, tucked to the two path five furlongs from home, raced along the inside through the turn coaxed along from the three-eighths, cut the corner into upper stretch and tired. ISABELLA'S DREAM coaxed from the gate, vied four then three wide between foes among a quartet, came under coaxing at the seven-sixteenths and began to retreat three furlongs from home, spun three wide into upper stretch backing away and folded. VOTER PROTECTION chased four to five wide under a ride from midway on the turn and trailed.
