Chart notes
CLENCH was hustled from the start, contested the pace on the outside, vied in the two then three path on the turn, moved clear outside the quarter-pole, spun four wide into the stretch then was set down, extended the advantage into the final furlong, was put to a right-handed crop outside the sixteenth-pole then placed under a hand ride in the final sixteenth while much the best. STROLLING broke a step slow, settled near the back, raced three wide while in hand early on the turn, was roused outside the five-sixteenths then moved to four wide, came five wide into the stretch, dropped in under a drive inside the three-sixteenths and safely secured the place while no match for the winner. EAGLE PASS broke a step slow, settled towards the rear, was roused while moving from the inside to the two path on the turn, turned into the stretch under the crop and lacked the needed response while just up for the show. BRONZED showed good speed, contested the pace on the inside of the winner, vied along the rail while still inside that foe on the turn, dropped back under urging coming to the quarter-pole and tired. GENGHIS broke out at the start, settled on the outside, dropped back while lugging out four then five wide on the turn, spun six wide into the stretch and failed to respond. STORM ADVISORY was coaxed after breaking a bit behind the top three, moved out while well placed under urging, chased three wide on the turn, came out while dropping back in upper stretch and faltered.
