Chart notes
RONAN void of early speed, though hustled along, advanced along the rail on the bend, angled out three wide midstretch, rallied under a drive and took over inside the final sixteenth. DANCIN AT MIDNIGHT shared the lead from outside from the early going, angled in beside AUNT STELLA midway on the bend, edged ahead in the lane but did not have enough left in the waning yards. AUNT STELLA broke on top, vied for the lead from inside, battled in the stretch but began to wear down the last sixteenth. SHE'S A BIG STAR raced in contention from outside, was four wide taking the bend and failed to have a stretch bid. DIAMONDS AND BOOTS hesitated at the break, was soon taken inside, angled out through the turn, came widest into the lane and had no late bid. CESSO displayed early speed between horses but began to fade after three furlongs.
