TEJATE away alertly, set the pace for a half while getting slow fractions, gave up the lead, regained command at the quarter pole, set the balance of the pace and edged clear late under left handed urging. MY PINK BABY BIRD away alertly, pressed the pace two wide for a half, made the lead, set the pace to the quarter pole, battled until deep stretch and held on for second. SWEET CHELSEA with the second flight two wide while between horses, angled out in upper stretch and finished determinedly in the five path. GOODFRIDAY MORNING with the second flight three wide, went evenly. AIKEN APPLE vied for the lead from the rail, was boxed in through the far turn then failed to offer the needed response. ALL THE BEST trailed.
