Chart notes
MR JEFFERSON was forwardly placed behind the leader in opening stages, moved up to challenge rival for the lead midway around the turn, shook clear turning for home, hustled along two wide in the final stages and stayed sharp. HIPPODROME raced in range around the turn, hustled along four wide at the head of the lane, was no match for the winner but dug in gamely to capture second best. CONCLUSIVE steadied after the start, raced off the early pace, launched a five wide bid at the head of the lane, moved up into closer contention then got edged out late for place. JESUIT chased in contention around the turn, stayed on three wide in the upper stretch then lacked late kick. SHAKE EM LOOSE raced inside in the second flight around the turn, roused two wide at the head of the lane, stayed on in the upper stretch then flattened in the final furlong. SMOKIN' T was not too far back in early stages, saved ground and hustled up for response in the lane but failed to move on. DARA'S BOY led the way in opening stages, vied with the winner around the turn the tired in the drive.
