Chart notes
ROMANTICAL NOTE was forwardly placed behind the leader in early stages, was ridden along four wide into the lane, roused forward and took command near the eighth pole, stayed sharp and finished clear. LA DAME tracked the early pace, went two wide into the lane then moved to the inside, briefly held a slim edge then got collared by the winner and settled for second best. FASHION ICON raced two wide off the early speed, swung five wide into the lane and rallied for a share. CONGA IN PARIS raced off the second flight, hustled up into the lane, angled out four wide near the eighth pole then evened out. SAVED AT THE WIRE chased in contention three to four wide around the turn then weakened in the lane. LA WAPA broke on top and set the pace around the turn, got collared at the head of the lane then gave way. DAWNDETTI raced in the back, went five wide into the lane and lacked a needed rally. PER STEWARDS RULING ROMANTICAL NOTE WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM FIRST AND DEEMED UNPLACED FOLLOWING A POSITIVE TEST.
