Chart notes
BRIAR JUMPER stalked the pace through the backstretch, launched a bid for command two wide late on the far turn, cleared on top at the head of the lane and stayed sharp under steady pressure. FEISTY KITTEN rated between foes through early stages, was ridden along five wide into the lane, drifted in a path and bumped with AHNAF past the furlong marker then got up late for place. AHNAF tracked the pace along the inside, launched a three wide bid at the head of the lane, bumped with FEISTY KITTEN past the furlong marker then got edged out late for place. HELLFIRE BOB settled inside through the backstretch, saved ground around the far turn, edged up closer along the inside in the upper stretch then evened out in late stages. BYEGONE DAYS raced off the early pace, saved ground around the far turn, stayed on near the inside and had a mild improve in the stretch run. TOP BOMB settled nicely while rated through the backstretch, launched a four wide bid at the head of the lane and lacked the response for impact. CARK settled through the backstretch, was ridden along two wide into the lane, raced in range then flattened out. HERCULES HARBOR rated through early stages, was not too far back around the far turn then swung wide into the lane and failed to move on. HACKER MAN raced off the pace, went wide into the lane and lacked a needed rally. QUINTO SOL was unhurried through early stages, saved ground then angled out three wide in the upper stretch and never menaced. JACKLIGHTING stalked the pacesetter through the backstretch and failed to keep pace late on the far turn and gave way. PLEASANTLY ROYAL set the pace, held on top around the far turn then faded in the lane. ZALFIERRO never menaced. STEWARDS POSTED AN INQUIRY LOOKING INTO THE STRETCH RUN, AFTER REVIEW NO ACTION WAS TAKEN
