Chart notes
GEOSCIENCE set the pace along the rail, kicked clear in upper stretch, switched back the left lead near the sixteenth pole and held well clear. SUPER Q settled off the pace while racing two and three wide and stayed on to gain the place without threatening the winner. TUTANKHAMUNATCHA saved ground off the pace, angled four wide near the quarter pole and was along for the show. DR. ROGER pressed the winner two wide and tired in the drive. LINGUIST was outrun inside. SUPER TRIPLE chased the pace inside and came up empty in the lane. COMPASS CAY played no factor while racing two wide.
