Chart notes
BOY WHO CRIED WOLF dueled inside for the lead, dueled with DEO FORTE passing the quarter pole, dug in gamely inside of that rival, drifted out through the final sixteenth and prevailed. DEO FORTE dueled three wide for the lead, dueled outside of the winner on the turn, dug in gamely outside in the final furlong, was floated out wide by the winner and steadied in deep stretch. COMBAT RIBBON chased the pace, drifted wide at the quarter pole and rallied mildly for third. SAVATIANO raced off the pace, saved ground on the turn, gained mildly and bested the others. RUNNING VIOLENCE dueled between rivals in a three way early scrimmage, chased on the turn and tired. SUPER WISE did not factor. PHIL THE BANKER was fractious in the gate, chased outside and gave way. HURACAN was outrun. After a Stewards' Inquiry along with a Jockey's Objection by the rider of the runner up, the race was declared official.
