Chart notes
LARSEN BAY stalked the leaders while racing four-wide, moved up to take command with a furlong to run and quickly drew off. FLYIN BY was bumped repeatedly at the start, pressed the pace of COASTAL QUEEN while racing three-wide, moved up to take command nearing the five-sixteenths pole but could not match strides with the winner in the drive. COASTAL QUEEN was away in good order to set a pressured pace from the inside and gave way to FLYIN BY after the opening quarter. CELINAS BLUE BIRD was pinched back at the start, raced just off the leaders early, moved five-wide through the turn and finished evenly late. BAT MAN'S BULL settled off the leaders from the inside and lacked the needed rally. COASTAL CAT was bumped repeatedly at the break, lagged early, angled out into the stretch and did not reach contention. HAVARTI GOLD settled off the leaders and gradually weakened.
