Chart notes
PREACHER BROWN broke out at the start, settled off the pace, was asked three wide nearing the second turn, rallied to the front and held driving. KEEN JAMES chased the pace to for three furlongs, bid two wide then bumped with MOOGIE CAT on the second turn, was outkicked by the winner but gamely dug in to hold second. SNICKER'N DAN was bumped by STARK MARK at the start, had no speed, was four wide to the stretch then missed the place. STARK MARK broke out and bumped SNICKER'N DAN at the start, chased the pace, bid three wide to the stretch then was outfinished. MOOGIE CAT hustled to the front, set the pace, came back to the field nearing the second turn, bumped with KEEN JAMES into the second turn, took up and gave way. The rider on MOOGIE CAT lodged an objection against the rider on KEEN JAMES and the rider on PREACHER BROWN for alleged interference into the second turn but in a unanimous decision, the stewards disallowed it.
