Chart notes
TORPEDO AWAY stalked the early going, moved up five wide at the three sixteenths pole and finished gamely to get up under strong handling. EL CHAVO DEL OCHO was slow early on, moved up around the far turn, was blocked past the three sixteenths pole, angled out and closed too late after experiencing a troubled trip. MIDNIGHT SPECIAL was forwardly placed to lay up close, raced two to three wide through the drive and kept on to the wire. HONEYMOONZ OVER showed good early speed to set the pace from the outside and weakened and bit in the latter stages. ITALIANO stalked the early pace, raced for wide into the upper stretch and had no final winning bid. SUNSET DRAGUNN stalked the early pace, raced three wide past the quarter pole, angled in through the stretch to race near the rail and had not enough in the drive. SLAM DUNK SERMON dropped back early, raced four deep in the lane and failed to respond. SEQUENTIALLY raced six wide into the upper stretch and never was a factor.
