Chart notes
OCTANE set the pace along the rail, kicked clear in upper stretch and widened under a drive. CAJUN'S MAGIC chased the pace three wide and finished willingly to be clearly second best. BIG AND CLASSY tracked the pace four wide, lacked the needed rally but churned on to secure the show. CATTIN raced off the pace four wide and passed tiring rivals. GOLD SPECIAL failed to menace while racing two wide. MERLIN hit the rail near the half-mile pole, tipped two wide soon after and never threatened. AWESOME CRUSADER failed to menace while racing four wide. CLAPTON stumbled at the start, raced inside and made little impact. LIGHTENING LARRY pressed the winner two wide and tired in the drive. GILLIGAN had brief speed four wide. KING CAB off a bit slow, showed some speed two wide and stopped after three furlongs.
