Chart notes
EDICT lacked speed, moved up along the inner rail through narrow quarters on the far turn, eased out in upper stretch, closed outside DON'T DARE ME and drove clear late. DON'T DARE ME stalked the pace, gained a three wide lead mid way on the far turn, angled to the inner rail at the head of the stretch and held on gamely. ZIP THE LIP stalked the pace down the backstretch, was four deep entering the far turn and weakened in the stretch. LIFESPAN hugged the inner rail on the first turn, raced three wide the far turn and was not a factor. KING SHAWN set the pace, raced in the two path on the far turn and gave way. INJECT THE LIGHT was not a factor.
