Chart notes
AMPLIO ESQUEMA settled through early stages saving ground, gained closer contention along the rail on the final turn, altered course at the head of the lane and ran down foes in deep stretch. WHO KNOWS WHAT stalked through the backstretch, launched a two wide bid on the final turn, vied outside of NICOLAR in the stretch run then got edged out by the winner. NICOLAR tracked the pace near midpack, launched a two wide at the head of the lane, vied inside of WHO KNOWS WHAT past the eighth pole then lacked closing response. TOSS A COIN stalked the pace, coaxed three to four wide in contention around the final turn then flattened out in the lane. BAY B set the pace, came under attack late on the final turn, got collared for the lead and faded. DIADORA settled through early stages, went five wide into the lane and failed to move on. CHASING MIDNIGHT was reserved in the back and had no response when called upon. RACE WAS HAND TIMED
