Chart notes
FORT ROYAL raced off the pace, advanced between foes on the turn, came wide, rallied outside, closed well late and was along in time to win going away. THURMAN MERMAN set the pace, opened up on the turn, dug in gamely in the stretch run and yielded late. CHIEF EXCHANGER chased three wide, chased on the turn and finished evenly. DAVID'S PROSPEC tracked inside, chased on the turn, came two wide into the lane and failed to threaten. IWISHIWASPECIAL chased between rivals early, chased inside on the turn and faded. TOGA CHALLENGER steadied at the start, chased four wide, chased three wide on the turn and gave way.
