MS CANELA stalked the loose leader, took over on the turn and pulled away driving. ELIANA'S MISSION saved ground well behind, angled out in the stretch and closed well. LA ALTENITA in tight early, raced close up inside then flattened out. SWEET SAVAGE sprinted clear to the three eighths pole and faltered. CAPE ELIZABETH dropped far behind and lacked a rally outside. A. C. RIGGS raced wide on the turn and was never in contention. MISBEHAVING LADY raced near the inside and weakened steadily. MARYEVIL broke a step slowly, rushed up wide then stopped abruptly.
