Chart notes

JW'S THIRD MISCHIE stumbled at the start, rushed up inside, moved clear on the turn, drifted out and remained safe RACK GIN advanced on the outside on the turn and closed well. HARD GAME trailed early, was in tight briefly near the three eighths pole and gained inside. TOO MUCH JOHNNIE pursued the winner wide on the turn and proved empty in the stretch. OPEN LENGTHS steadied into the far turn and failed to recover. WICKED STRONG ALEX forced the pace for half a mile and gave way. SLEW TANG CLAN raced wide within range and weakened steadily. STOPIT led briefly outside, stopped abruptly on the turn and lost contact with his field.
