Chart notes
RACE DRIVER well placed and outside, gained a striking position three wide through the turn, bid on that path into the lane, made a steady gain, edged ahead and held. DIAMOND DUST set the early pace inside, stayed on when challenged through the turn, edged ahead in the stretch, then was outfinished. GOOD ON YA broke awkwardly from the gate, saved ground through the turn, came through inside of rivals and flattened out. AHIMELECH well placed and outside, gained position four wide through the turn, bid on that path into the stretch, drifted in and weakened. PEANUTS PERFECTION allowed to settle, gained position two and three wide through the turn, bid three wide into the lane, was forced to steady on heels and faded. INDY LYON vied for the early lead on the outside, gained a short lead through the turn, then faded in the stretch. A STEWARDS' INQUIRY AND A CLAIM OF FOUL LODGED BY THE RIDER OF PEANUTS PERFECTION, AGAINST THE RIDER OF AHIMELECH WAS ALLOWED FOR INTERFERIENCE AT THE HEAD OF THE LANE
