Chart notes
THE SKY IS FALLING chased toward the inside then eased outward midway on the turn, left the turn four wide, dug in to take the lead later yards and raced clear under the wire. HESSICA contested the pace between horses through the backstretch, raced at a close disadvantage nearest the rail on the turn, took the lead nearing the head of the lane, was steadily encouraged through the final furlong but gave up the lead later yards. GHOSTLY SQUALL contested the pace and had a slim lead two deep on the turn, was headed toward the top of the lane, dropped back at the eighth pole then flattened the final sixteenth. BAYS CASTLE gave chase, rounded the turn about the four path then ran evenly through the stretch. CASTLE LIGHTS contested the pace inside through the backstretch, dropped back at the rail midway on the turn then flattened in the lane. TIMETOGETUP gave chase from well back then lost ground on the turn. EXCUSES EXCUSES became anxious in the gate, was through early and saved ground on the turn.
