ALONG THE WAY stalked the dueling leaders, tracked inside on the far turn, waited for room, angled off the rail at the eighth pole, closed willingly and drew clear for the win. VARSITY KICKLINE (IRE) raced off the pace inside, moved up inside on the backside, steadied entering the far turn, moved up inside on the turn, angled out at the top of the lane and rallied on the far outside for second. VICIOUS VELMA vied inside for the lead, dueled into the far turn, shook free, dug in gamely and yielded past midstretch. FIRST LADY DI DA raced two wide off the pace, moved up three wide on the far turn, came four wide into the lane and lacked a rally. SAINT RITA stalked outside a rival, bid three wide on the far turn and weakened. BRINA raced off the pace inside, between rivals on the far turn, lacked room at the top of the lane and then had no rally. FYVIE raced off the pace, between rivals on the far turn and had no rally. LADY MANHATTAN bobbled at the break, raced off the pace and did not factor. SATCH vied two wide for the lead, dueled on the backside, chased between rivals on the far turn and faded.
