Chart notes
ORPHAN HALLIE pressed the duelers early, bid into the turn, shook clear late turn and held sway under a steady drive. DOMINANT FACTOR settled off the pace, closed four then three-wide on the turn, chased into the stretch, rallied outside and was gaining fast. SUMMER LOAD got away slowly and settled off the pace, closed three and four-wide on the turn the finished gamely between foes. SON OF MY FATHER led quickly, was engaged in a duel, was headed late turn and chased gamely to the end. VERRAZANO BRIDGE stalked the pace, chased two and three-wide on the turn and was all out through the stretch. ABRAXAS broke inward then was hustled to contention o the backstretch, chased from mid pack on the turn but failed to menace. ONE THOU, in mid pack early, dropped back early turn and lacked a rally. SAVUKA quickly moved up to duel, dropped back at the turn and faded.
