Chart notes
AMEN CORNER lacked speed, raced along the inner rail throughout, swept to command approaching the finish and drew out. SELF AWARENESS showed speed in the two path around the first turn, opened up on the backstretch, remained well off the rail and tired late. SMART STEP , always well off the inner rail, was outrun. BLUE DANUBE showed speed along the inner rail, drifted out on the backstretch and tired.
