ALLIED INVASION raced off the pace inside, moved up inside on the far turn, angled out at the quarter pole, slipped through three wide into the stretch, rallied between rivals, dueled, led late and held on. ORBERT raced two wide off the pace, came five wide into the lane, rallied outside in the stretch drive and dug in gamely to the finish. PAINTER'S PRIDE raced two wide off the pace, came four wide into the stretch, rallied mildly and got up for third. TRAPPEZE ARTIST raced three wide early, then stalked two wide, bid on the far turn, dueled past midstretch and weakened. EL PILLO pulled early, then chased inside, came three wide into the lane, steadied in tight at the top of the stretch, then outkicked. IT'S A RISK set the pace on the inside, dueled on the far turn and faded in the lane.
