DOUBLE THUNDER raced off the pace inside, advanced between rivals entering the far turn, angled out for a clear path turning for home, responded when asked, closed strongly outside, rolled to the lead past the sixteenth marker and was geared down nearing the wire. AMERICAN SANCTUARY was forced wide entering the first turn, settled two wide off the pace, moved up three wide on the far turn, made a strong four wide run at the quarter pole, swept by the leaders to the front, then dug in gamely but no match for the winner. MIDNIGHT WORKER stalked close up two wide, bid between rivals entering the far turn, dueled past the quarter pole, dug in gamely inside in the stretch drive and earned the show award. CHANCELLOR BAY checked entering the first turn, recovered quickly, then stalked two wide, bid three wide on the far turn, dueled into the lane and dug in gamely between rivals to the end. SWIFT TAP was reluctant loading, then off a bit slow, forced wide entering the clubhouse turn, settled three wide off the pace, went four wide on the far turn and tired. BUFF HELLO tracked on the inside, chased inside on the far turn and faded. UNDER THE GUN set the pace on the inside, dueled into the far turn and faded.
