Chart notes
LUCKY D forced the pace, surged clear on the turn and all out to hold on in deep stretch. STORMIN' J. J. chased while three wide, remained three wide into the stretch and stayed on well. CHINLEE saved ground, remained inside for the stretch and kept on. SAY IT NICELY was forwardly placed, gained ground entering the stretch but came up empty in the late going. LORD OF THE PALACE was always outrun. LUCKY LOUIE took no part. GONE WITH THE FINN led early and retreated.
