Chart notes
EXTRA CRUNCHY , nicely down the backstretch the first time, circled the first turn three wide, advanced in the three path to secure command leaving the backstretch, angled in on the far turn, drew out and was under the whip in the stretch. PREPAREFORTAKEOFF , up close early, raced in the two path around both turns and weakened through the stretch. RUBI DE LEON , rank behind horses entering the first turn, angled out leaving the backstretch, offered a mild move in the three path leaving the far turn then weakened in the stretch. GOOD STORY , along the inner rail on the first turn, eased out on the backstretch, circled the far turn five wide and was not a factor. SKYLAR'S LADY showed speed along the inner rail and gave way. MAIL CALL , swung outside entering the backstretch, raced in the four path on the far turn, gave way and returned bleeding.
