Chart notes
KNIGHTOFMICHAEL pressed the pace along the inside for six furlongs, angled outside the leader, matched strides through deep stretch two wide and proved best in a stiff drive. BRILLIANTBENNY away alertly, set the pace until deep stretch and finished second best. VOLUME OF TRUST chased the pace two wide into the stretch, drifted out then in when struck with a right handed whip and finished evenly. HAPPY TAKEOVER stalked the pace four wide into the far turn, dropped inside, was in a bit tight nearing the wire altered course to the four path then finished evenly. MY TICKET was brushed entering the clubhouse turn then no threat. JIMMYJEAN had brief speed. WESTERN HOPE checked over heels outward into MY TICKET entering the first turn then failed to menace. MOBIL BREEZE trailed. THE RIDER OF HAPPY TAKEOVER LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST THE RIDER OF VOLUME OF TRUST FOR INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH. AFTER REVIEW THE STEWARDS TOOK NO ACTION.
