Chart notes
BLACK CANDY took the lead at the rail leaving the half mile pole and rated the pace, came under pressure into the turn and raced at the rail through the turn, then dug in under steady stretch handling to hold on. COMPANY CLOWN chased the pace inside from the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the turn about the four path, was carried to the six path into the stretch, though, closed steadily to take second the final yards while gaining on the winner. DR. RUSTY RAYMOND chased the earlier pace outside, rounded the turn in the three path then flattened out the final strides. HARBOUR TOWN gave chase inside, raced near the rail on the turn and ran evenly through the lane. SALTEE STARK chased the pace inside through the backstretch, angled out toward the head of the lane and left the turn in the five path, raced evenly to mid-stretch then flattened the final sixteenth. FIFTY FIFTY engaged in close early chase, but dropped back toward the quarter pole and weakened approaching the head of the lane.
