Chart notes
MUD PIE rated through early stages, split foes midway around the far turn and gained closer contention, slipped through the rail turning for home, cleared on top and stayed on with good response on the inside then just lasted under a driving finish. DECISION MAKER was unhurried out of the gate and remained off the pace, moved into contention at the head of the lane, launched a two wide bid at the quarter pole, remained in pursuit for MUDE PIE, was inching up two wide in final strides and just missed. CAMP HOPE tracked the early pace, went five wide into the lane, roused forward and raced in closer contention at the eighth pole, continued to edge up on the leader, raced three deep in aim nearing the wire then yielded in final strides. BUY ME CANDY raced off the pace, was ridden along four wide into the lane, sustained steady response and had a mild improve. EAMONN rated outside off the early pace, roused two wide at the quarter pole and passed tiring foes. RHYTHM SECTION stalked the pace to the far turn then gave way in the lane. HARD RYE GUY was unhurried, raced five wide in the upper stretch and failed to move on. HELLORHIGHWATER was reserved, swung wide for the drive and never threatened. BLANKET OF ROSES was reserved, saved ground then shifted wide and had no response. SLIABH AUGHTY (FR) stalked the leader around the turn then faded in the lane. POTUS raced inside in range through early stages then retreated. AMERICAINAED sprinted to a clear lead then dropped back.
