PARTY OF FIFTEEN vied for the lead while inside, was well handled then drew off in mid stretch and was ridden out in the end. INITIATOR was unhurried early while inside on the backstretch, rallied two wide in upper stretch, was gaining ground to be second best. HEAROSEONEASTER vied for the while between rivals on the backstretch, was in a long drive but weakened in late stretch. CARIOCA stumbled badly at the start going to his knees then was settled on the inside down the backstretch, made a bid on the far turn but was no menace in late stretch. BUD MINISTER vied for the lead while three wide on the backstretch, was in a long drive but faltered in the stretch drive. WOODBOWER stalked the pace while three wide on the backstretch, made a bid into the far turn then gave way. MISTER JALISCO was outrun.
