Chart notes
ANGEL'S ADVOCATE broke alertly and set quick fractions while saving ground on the turn, was pressured by the runner-up off of the turn but repelled that bid and drew clear in the late going. LAGATHA prompted the pace while three then four wide on the turn, pressured the winner off of the turn but was repelled and kept on to be best of the rest. UNIVERSALLY stalked the pace while two then three wide on the turn and was outfinished by the top two in the stretch. B B KIDDO chased the leaders from the midflight and did not have a late rally. UNUSUAL SECRET had no speed in the early going and was not a factor. SWEET TOPPER chased the leaders from near the rear of the field, saved ground on the turn and was not a threat.
