Chart notes
BABY GRONK raced up close between early, chased two wide into the turn, eased out into the four path around the turn, rallied from outside under right-handed urging and edged the runner-up late. JOE DON LOONEY broke well from inside, attended the pace along the rail, vied with a pair of rivals on the turn, took over at the three-sixteenths pole, cleared briefly then fought with BABY GRONK in the final sixteenth and yielded grudingly. TRIBAL WAR CHANT tracked four wide into the turn, exited the bend six wide and was along for third. SILVER CLAIM broke in and bumped then bobbled at the start, had speed five deep up the backstretch, inched ahead around the turn while vying with a pair of rivals, lost command at the three-sixteenths pole and weakened. SILVERWIND fractious in the gate, bumped both sides at the start, recovered to vie for the lead four deep, fought between rivals on the turn then gave way in the lane. COUNT TOLSTOY bumped at the start, vied three deep early, dropped back nearing the turn, entered the lane five wide and faded.
