Chart notes
STANLEY RYDER tracked the pace of IOWA KID from the inside, angled out nearing the sixteenth pole and was in the closing yards to be going away late. IOWA KID sprinted clear at once, saved ground while setting the pace and gave way to the winner through the final yards. ADJUDGED was off slow, settled off the leaders early, moved five-wide through the turn and finished evenly late. MARK MY WORD lacked early foot, raced six-wide through the turn and was not a factor. CUDDLY PANDA lagged early, saved ground and did not reach contention. FOREFATHERS FURY chased the leaders while racing three-wide and weakened after going a half.
