Chart notes
CANDY'S PARADE void of speed inside, continued to save ground through the turn and into the lane, challenged through a narrow opening along the inside a furlong out, outfinished the next two in a determined effort. VISIONOFWILDTIMES forwardly placed off the inside, three wide into the lane, came in a bit upper stretch, outside bid nearing the furlong grounds, led, outkicked in the late going by the winner, held sway for the place. HAMAZING LACE last away, moved up to within striking distance off the inside, slight bother upper straight to lose slight position, moved out, coming again late. IN FOR A PENNY broke on top, got clear early, continued to narrowly show the way through the turn, allowed the winner the inside when vying past the furlong marker, weakened in the late going to lose the show. SWEET BAY in the second flight early, lacked a response in the drive. TURF DANCER four wide trip, also failed to respond when called on for the drive.
