PAUL THE WAITER raced four wide early, moved up to contest the pace, vied outside, dueled on the far turn, held a short lead turning for home, responded when asked and edged away for the win. HOORAY FOR HARVEY raced off the early pace, moved up three wide on the backside, rallied four wide at the quarter pole, dug in gamely in the stretch run and got the nod for second on the wire. HARDCORE FOLKLORE raced off the early pace, moved up three wide to contest the pace on the backside, bid three wide on the turn, dueled into the stretch, dug in gamely between rivals and just missed for the place spot. BLUGRASCAT'S SMILE raced off the pace inside, came five wide into the lane and lacked a rally in the stretch. FLAT BILL set the pace on the inside, vied inside on the backside, dueled on the far turn and faded. INDIAN GULCH was off slowly, outrun early and dropped far back. PROFESSOR SNAPE raced between rivals, gave way, was pulled up on the far turn and vanned off.
